Over the last 3 years in high-end service, I am proud to have honed both my professional skills and positive work ethic. My roles have been in premium level housekeeping, concierge and guardianship - mostly in private chalets in the Alps and villas in the South. I have supported discerning guests and absent owners equally. In this sense, I endeavour to create the best possible conditions in a client’s property, and ensure guests enjoy their best hospitality experience.
Last Winter 2022/203 was especially rewarding, given I was working for property owners and guests in a world-renowned ski area. Based in Les 3 Vallees, I managed and acted as lead housekeeper for a portfolio of 9 luxury properties. I ensured that the cleaning, linens, bedrooms, ensuites, spas, saunas, cellars and stock of products were kept in their optimal condition. I was also responsible for security, parking, arrivals/departures, maintenance and office co-ordination. My role in resort then required significant diplomacy, motivation and resourcefulness.
Prior to this, I worked for 2 1/2 years in British-owned chalet and villa holiday accommodation. I was solely responsible for all aspects of the weekly/varying changeovers - including through cleaning internally and externally, provisioning, arrival/departure liaison, security, maintenance, administration and bookings. I executed these functions with polished tact and warm hospitality.
I originally chose to gain French work status in December 2020, as part of Britain's withdrawl from the EU. I was successful in acquiring my Carte de Sejour and enjoy full status. It has been a delight to remain in France, and I feel privileged to serve at the top-end of private hospitality.
