We are a married couple seeking a Guardian role. We have been married 36 years and have worked together on and off most of our married life. We are both currently Managing for a private High Net Worth Individual on his estate in Germany. Nicola manages the household with 2 full time staff from cleaning/laundry/wardrobe/ inventory/shopping/helping with events in a 1500m2 home, also cleaning of entertainment building and staff building. Arnon manages the 7 acre park with 2 other full time staff. Gardening/maintenance/pool management and animals. We have been in this position since 1st October 2024 and miss France, we moved to France in 2015. Arnon was land Manager for Chateau Thénac. His role was maintenance of machinery/buildings/cropping of the land and looking after a variety of animals. Nicola started her property guardian business in 2017 and Arnon joined the business in 2021. We had 7 Luxury homes where we were Property Guardians for English and American clients second homes in the Dordogne (France). We were the key holders provided weekly security checks/cleaning/laundry/purchasing of supplies/maintenance/pool care and maintenance, gardening/lawns and ordering Oil and firewood, arranging tradesmen. We also had another 14 clients where we offered services such as lawns and pool management etc. we sold our business in May 2024. We wanted to do a summer in the mountains so worked for Reach4Alps in Morzine from June to end of September 2024 cleaning Chalets and looking after hot tubs and gardening. We are looking for a live in Guardian role where we can do the cleaning/maintenance and liaise with guests. We are very familiar with weekly changeovers and interaction with guests as we had 3 clients with Gites and we managed everything. We are comfortable with some cooking. We have done a weeks training with a private chef in June 24. We are both fit, have no independents living with us, our children have left home. Our daughter actually Manages a high end Chalet in Meribel and she got this job as she worked with us for two summers. We love the mountains, skiing/hiking and biking, love interacting with owners and guests. Friendly positive demeanor. We have a very high standard of cleaning and good organization skills. Nicola from 2012-2017 worked for Gray Dawes Corporate Travel as an account manager looking after the travel spend for large businesses in the UK, she liaised with Travel Managers and Finance Directors. We would like to move back to France, Nicola is a EU citizen having an Irish passport and Arnon is a New Zealand citizen but we both have Carte de sejour’s, we are both self employed Micro Entrepreneurs and are fully registered and insured.
