I am currently living and working in the South of France with my husband as a couple for a prestigious client near Cannes on an entrepreneur visa, which unfortunately comes to an end in April due to another regular couple who take over in the summer. I have 30 years of experience in a variety of housekeeping roles and I am keen to continue living and working in this part of the world which I now class as home. I am meticulous when it comes to organising and cleaning and take great pride in the presentation of the home. I was born in Moroccan in 1974 and have lived in the UK for 30 years since the age of 19 and speaks fluent Arabic, English and can converse in French. I have been described as warm, friendly and very hard working. Prior to working for a single household, I have managed numerous AirBnb where I am a super host with over a hundred 5* ratings.
My husband Simon was previously Managing Director for two property companies and a qualified Financial Advisor. . He has renovated many properties and can therefore maintain and carry out many repairs before having to call in a profesional tradesperson. Simon is also a keen gardener and landscaper and has recently learnt how to maintain swimming pools and the automated watering system for the garden. He has recently managed a large renovation of the clients property whilst the owners have been out of the country. This has involved working with many different trades to complete the project on time and before the owner returned. He is an extremely good communicator and has kept the clients informed through messaging, photographs and videos to completion.
As a slightly more mature couple we offer a wealth of life experience and a presence at the property desirable for clients and their guests who occasionally like to converse with those working in and around the house and gardens.
We would welcome meeting potential clients in a 30 mile radius of Cannes for an informal chat and our current employer has already agreed to sending references.
