I am Jerome Carpena forty six years old and residing in Cabries, France for less than three years.
I am currently working as a Commis in hotel French- Italian restaurant in Cabries. My task is to prepare all necessary things in my section, like peeling vegetables, cutting vegetables and fish, cooking vegetables, sauce, fish and meats. Im preparing also the dessert and salads. I am doing also the platings and make sure to inform the service to pick up before its getting cold. I am doing also dishwasher i make sure all the dirty kitchen utensils are cleaned. I always practice hygiene in the kitchen to avoid food contamination. I ensure to disposed the garbage daily and make sure the fridge are well arrange and clean and there are no spoiled food.
I am hardworking, patient, very particular in details, always willing to learn new things and always welcome the constructive feedback for my improvement. I always ensure that i am working up to the standard of my employer so i can meet their expectation.
I have 12 years experience in housekeeping in a five star hotel in Abu Dhabi as a cleaner for two years and ten years as a housekeeping supervisor. When i was a cleaner, my task is to do deep cleaning of the check out apartment to get ready for the new tenant according to the hotel standard. I am using some machine to do some floor scrubbing, vacuuming and mopping the floors, I ensured that i was cleaned from top till down and also some furnitures and kitchen appliances like fridge, microwave, dishwasher machine and cooking oven and also washing machine. I cleaned also wardrobes from top, inside and outside and ensure theres no any dirt. Also the bathroom from scrubbing the walls, all the fixture like soap holder, shower head and hose. I cleaned also bath tub, toilet bow, wash basin and mirrors.
I make sure to report to engineering department for any maintenance work to rectify it before i finish cleaning.
After i worked as a cleaner i was promoted as a housekeeping supervisor, My task was to look after my staff, to delegate the task with them, making duty roster and checked their worked if it is done up to the hotel standard. I made sure that apartments are in good condition and well cleaned and there are no any spots. Also i handled the cleaning of offices, and public areas like wash room, corridors, pantry’s, breakout rooms and even parking areas.
Then after my work i am doing some cleaning sidelines like cleaning residence apartment for our tenant.
