I am submitting for your attention my application for the position of private chef published in your job portal which I believe is in line with my skills and aspirations.

My name is Lorenzo De Vita, I am Chef and I come from Rome, Italy. I am a motivated and passionate professional with a strong desire to put my professionalism, knowledge, and techniques that I have refined in recent years to the service of my private clients.

By my professors and employers, I have always been considered to be very punctual, precise in my work and appearance and very importantly clean. They have always commented on my professional and proactive attitude. I have also demonstrated to them an organizational skill for private banquets and special occasions, also demonstrating my marked creativity.

After graduating from the Italian Hotel Institute and having worked in 4-star hotels during my studies, I continued my studies and enforced my knowledge in the field by attending the first-rate professional academy in Italy of Gambero Rosso. Taking a Professional Chef 4. 0 course where I was able to perfect and learn cutting-edge cooking techniques with the continuous supervision of the five-starred Italian Chef Igles Corelli and other nationally renowned teaching chefs.

After graduating at the top of my class, I began my working career in the internationally renowned restaurant Aroma Restaurant which has a Michelin star, first as Commis Chef and then as full-time Chef De Partie where I put all my knowledge to good use and contributed significantly to the creation of new dishes and menus in line with local products, customer needs and the seasonality of the products.

After my restaurant experience I had the opportunity to embark on my career in the private sector by serving as a temporary Private Chef for the Christmas holidays for a UHNW family in Istanbul, Turkey. Where I had the opportunity to refine my techniques but in a private and high-end context

In recent years there has been no shortage of extra experiences such as exclusive and private dinners for Italian clients on sailing boats and the presence as Chef at the Dinner in The Sky Belgium held in August 2022.

I have had the opportunity to travel a lot around the world despite my age, always looking for exclusive destinations and this, also thanks to my desire to grow, has allowed me to significantly increase my knowledge of the various cuisines and wine cultures in the world, especially Mediterranean, Italian, French, Middle Eastern, Asian and Nordic.

Personally, I always aspire to give an identity to the dish I prepare by enriching them with elements that contribute and make them unique and classy such as essences, aromatic scents of spices, oils and flowers and fresh herbs that best enhance the quality of raw material.
