I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to accompany mine and my wife's CV. We are both hospitality professionals, having worked in private households, 5- and 6-star resorts, hotels and restaurants in the Uk, Australia, Spain and in France. We've both worked in private homes, Kitchens as well as front of house in hotels and restaurants, so we have a good knowledge of food and drink as well as top quality service. We are currently workin for a family looking after them and their House in the UK, Villa in Spain and Château in France. I work maintaining the properties, vehicles, pool, and gardens. Margot runs the property. Organising the household inventory, cooking, cleaning and looking after guests.
We also worked for a family in the UK on a large property with formal gardens and woodland. Our roles similar with the addition of more animal care and woodland management.
Before working in private households our employment was in high end hospitality, in a yacht club, hotel and on a catamaran. We are both able to mix very manual work with high end service. My wife Margot also has quality experience in housekeeping and hosting having worked at The Beach Club Hamilton Island. We have also other varied experiences that I believe are valuable to this post. I have run my own solid fuel heating business, this means that I have lots of experience labouring, fixing, building, working on the interior and exterior of clients’ houses. I have always worked on and maintained my own vehicles. I have previously run market garden as well as working in public and private gardens. During this time, I worked for Burford Garden in Herefordshire. I have always cared for animals of all shapes and sizes. Margot also has care experience in a private house including a live-in post caring for a lady with disabilities. Alongside this lots of childcare experience.
We have been working for the past 3 years in temporary positions and unfortunately our current employers are no longer able to employ us down to no fault of our own. They provide a glowing reference. We are looking for a permanent /long term contracted position.
We are problem solvers, an astute, respectful, discreet, intelligent young couple who enjoy providing top quality service.
I am 35 and English with a good level of French and my wife is 28 French speaking fluent English. We both have full clean driving licences.
