Letter of intent
To whom it may concern,
We believe our experience and skills are matching the profile description requirements for the position you are looking to fill and we are welcoming the possibility to travel and work for the family needing our help. .
We both have previous considerable experience working and living in a domestic environment with excellent references from all families we have worked for previously.
We are a hard working couple, in our early fifties, reachable immediately and able and available to start asap.
We have our own vehicle and we are self-sufficient very flexible and autonomous as we currently have no dependants and no pets.
I (Ela), worked in education field for more than 20 years, in Canada. Nick ( my husband) worked in the automotive industry for the same period in Canada.
He is an excellent driver with clean driving record, ( We both have driver licences with clean driving records), skilful with plenty of hands on maintenance experience as a handyman, completed last job with excelent references renovations in Germany in October, November of past year, (can send pictures and references as well ), as in all households including swimming pool maintenance, woodworking, construction, painting, household upkeep and maintenance.
We have been traveling and working together as a couple in 2022, 2023 in Germany for one family, in France for 2 families, Spain one family, Italy, Sardinia for 2 families within the “ Workaway “ short term program living in from 3 weeks to 3 months at a time, with or at families residences needing help on a daily basis with similar tasks with the ones you are looking for help with and, more specifically, housekeeping, food preparation and serving, house organization and decluttering, and cleaning, household maintenance, gardening, laundry, ironing, shopping, elderly care, childcare, courtains adjusting, clothes adjusting and repairs on sewing machine. . etc. as needed.
