I am Marie-Joséphine, Chef at La Mauve et l’Asphodèle. Passionate about cooking, I enjoy creating dishes as beautiful as tasty. From pasta to ice-cream, everything is homemade only with fresh ingredients, local products and seasonal food. As I am also fond of history, art and architecture (I was an academic teacher and researcher in a previous job), my cuisine draws its inspiration from intimate places, full of history and emotions. I cook on site to guaranty the quality and the freshness of the dishes and I would be happy to share with your guests my recipes and my chef’s tricks - in French and English as well !
After 10 years' experience with international clients, public personalities and as "Chef à demeure" in a French castle, I propose you my service of private chef with confidentiality, teamwork qualities and sense of initiative. I also provide cooking lessons at all levels.
