I am writing to you to express my interest in the positions as sales representative.
I have decided to change the industry ( actually the whole my life) in where I have worked for twelve years and move into something different, based on land and permanent.
I am currently looking for a land based job transitioning out of yachting industry.
I have been travelling a bit in Spain and have lived in Mallorca and Formentera for a few years. Due to " Global situation " in 2020 I left Mallorca.
My whole work experience is about 28 years and the yachting industry is the last twelve years. I kindly attached some information regarding the jobs I have done for your perusal.
I am an Ex chief stewardess/ leader previously worked on private/charter luxury yachts, as well as Butler- house menager in private villas for VVIP clients. Also in luxury retail boutiques. As secretary in the office, sale advisor-representative before I started my career in yachting industry in Cote d'azur, Italy and Mallorca.
While working in luxury boutiques, retail sales I have gained a high level of customer service. I have participated in international sales fairs, conducted promotions and marketing in gaining new customers.
I was participating and organizing special events for international VIP customers in hotel's lobby, which encouraged customers for purchases during the events and promotions.
My duties included administrative work, updating to the system every client and their personal details, each sale and each purchase.
The sales were taking a place in direct contact with the customer on the shopfloor, online or by phone. We were shipping the products to the customers within the EU or overseas also to Brazil and New Zealand.
An important element of my work was cataloging the product to the system, inventories, refunds or purchase/exchange.
I have been working in yachting industry for eleven years on various luxury yachts ranging in size from 25m-141m Sailing or Motor yachts, private and charter as Chief stewardess or sole stewardess on smaller yachts.
As head of the interior team my responsibility was to manage the housekeeping and service department included reception, provisioning, booking, rotation, laundry, administration, inventories etc. Very often the responsibilities were connected to the Personal Assistant duties of the owners.
I have gained extensive experience of high level of service, which I have been delivering to my employers, VIP clients and my colleagues at work.
I also have worked in fasion industry and participated in fashion shows and organised special events for VIP clients as sale representative for luxury jewellery boutique in Jersey Channel Islands.
I studied Fine Art and Design abroad for many years and I have a big passion regards to the Art, antiques and interior design.
I was managing private villas worldwide travelling and looking after my principales for many years before yachting industry. One of them was Mr. Roger Federer and his family in Switzerland.
Also managing luxury rental apartments in Jersey Channel Islands.
Working for "Hormann" company I was responsible to deliver high level of customer service. I was working in the office, answering phone calls and e-mails, meeting the customers in person. Scheduling working days for fitters and contractors. Navigating the work progress of the contractors on private properties. Taking a part in international Trade Fairs as sale representative.
This skills I used during the shipyard periods once working in yachting industry. Setting up the interior for new build yacht. I was truly enjoying doing that.
Within all my job career, which is about 28 years I have lived in the UK, in the South of France where I started my yachting career, Italy, Spain-Mallorca, Portugal, USA, Australia and Austria.
I have always lived by the Sea!!
Unfortunately I don't speak fluent Spanish but I am willing learn!! I have Spanish NIE number as I previously worked in Formentera, for a short period, and lived in Mallorca before 2020, as I mentioned before.
I am looking for to transfer myself from the sea to the land based role permanently!!
It is truly a huge mile step into new career and new life for me where I am very excited to be !
I am very keen to learn new things, to develop my skills and use my previous experience, my knowledge, good manners and polite approach in my new career path.
