We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who has been formally trained within a busy, high-standard kitchen operation. The main role will be to assist the head chef in setting up the kitchen; organising storage before VIP client visits, as well as helping out the chef on a day to day basis. This is an extremely private property located in Paris, France. The role is for the duration of 3-4 months. If you are looking for a temporary role in between summer and winter seasons and have experience as a Chef de Partie, this could be ideal for you.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the head chef throughout the temporary 3-4 month period
Able to use initiative when required.
Experience working in a kitchen as a chef de partie.
Excellent stock management skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety and current food regulations.
To run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by the Head Chef
Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service
