My name is Jordan, I’m 25 and was born in Marseille, France. I have always been interested in languages and traveling. I love playing music, doing sports and of course teaching. I have finished my master degree in languages in 2016 and got my CELTA a few years before. It gave me the opportunity to teach in France for the past 4 years, first as a French teacher for children aged between 10 and 18 years old and second as an English teacher for students aged between 5 and 9 years old. Because of that, I feel very comfortable teaching at all age, either in English or in French. I also know Russian at a B2 level, so it will hugely help new Russian learners get a grasp of a new language without getting confused in the communication. I have also developed multiple activities with my past students so they can learn through sport, walks or games. My understanding of Russian will be a huge asset to make the bridge between the Russian culture and the language he is about to learn.
As a person, I am very stable, serious and calm. I love teaching people and have a good grasp of what the students need as part of the learning because of my empathy and my experience. I have developed a very specific program for new learners to be able to quickly express themselves in their own words, no matter what the topic is and I easily give them the confidence they need in the beginning not to fear or be shy expressing themselves. The child's well-being will always be my number one priority and I will make sure he will be able to learn, interact and communicate politely and effectively, growing his ability to think, speak, and express his ideas the best he or she can.
Thank you for your consideration and time. I hope learning more about your family and becoming a valuable team member by bringing all my existing skills to the table, along with my willingness to spread my French and English knowledge at your home.
